Well done to rotational nurse Saff Younas, who recently received this lovely feedback from a patient:
“I wanted to say that Saff is the kindest, patient and best nurse I have ever had.”
Saff's colleagues have let us know that this is one of many compliments the team have received about him, so we'd like to say thank you to Saff for his hard work!
And finally we'd like to say well done and thank you to Louise Clarke, who works in our diabetes education team. One of Louise's patients wrote her this poem that she's kindly shared with us:
To Louise, Our Guide in Diabetes Management
In the realm of health, where knowledge is key,
You’ve guided us with wisdom, so patient and free.
With every lesson, every word you impart,
You’ve touched our lives, and warmed each heart.
Through the maze of diabetes, you’ve shown us the way,
With tips and advice, day after day.
From counting carbs to managing stress,
You’ve taught us to strive, to do our best.
Your kindness and care, a beacon so bright,
In moments of doubt, you’ve been our light.
With every question, you’ve answered with grace,
Helping us navigate this challenging space.
So here’s to you, Louise, with gratitude true,
For all that you’ve done, and all that you do.
In the journey of health, you’ve played a part,
Forever cherished, in each of our hearts.
From all of us :-)
