Research at DCHS: How to participate in or share research. DCHS research and innovation (R&I) team would like to highlight the following guidance for the steps to take any time you are presented with a research opportunity, for NHS staff, patients or your service. The first step is to let the R&I team know details of the research, before you undertake or share it. Please see the full guidance here. POCT open day – drop-in session: Join us for a point of care testing (POCT) open day at Walton Hospital's Community Diagnostic Centre. This drop-in session will showcase available POCT equipment and explore how it can support faster, informed clinical decision-making on Thursday, 22 January, 10am – 2pm. Open to all healthcare professionals across community and secondary care, including clinicians, primary care, DCHS and CRH staff.
What’s on offer: live equipment demonstrations, information on available tests, discussion around pathway development and networking opportunities.
Staff stories – Brought to you by Schwartz Rounds: Our virtual Schwartz Rounds aims to promote connection, compassion and reflection. They last for an hour and all you need to do is turn up and listen. It even counts as 1hr CPD and clinical supervision.
