Belper’s new health centre name announced: The votes are in and we’re excited to share the results of the naming vote for Belper’s new £15 million health centre. Out of a total of 1,734 votes, Babington Health Centre received 1,195 votes, representing 68.9 per cent of the total. Set to open in spring 2026, the new facility will feature 15 consulting rooms, six treatment rooms and a dedicated health education group space. We’d like to thank all colleagues who took part in the vote. Your input has helped us choose a name that reflects the community we serve. Read more here.

It provides access to basic free training, guidance on questions to ask Copilot, and instructions on how to access Copilot Chat. Sustainability in the NHS training sessions: Join us for a one hour training session on sustainability in the NHS with a particular focus on Derbyshire and Derby City. This engaging training session will give participants an introduction to sustainability and how climate change and healthcare are linked. There will be opportunity to hear from sustainability leads from across JUCD and learn about some of the work taking place across the system, such as greener medicines, digital innovation, low-carbon travel and estates.
